Rent is due by the 5th of the month. If you have a change in your income, you should report it immediately to your property manager or housing specialist so your rent can be adjusted.
We have been and will be reviewing files throughout the course of this project. If you owe back rent, you need to make arrangements to repay the housing authority before any further actions are taken.
If you have outstanding rent you will jeopardize your “Good Standing” status with the RHA. This can affect your ability to return to the site. Please contact your resident manager and set up a process to resolve any outstanding debts.
Good Standing Requirements
Good Standing under the Housing Authority of the City of Richmond Admission & Continued Occupancy Policy is as follows:
Rent is current and there is no outstanding balance for previous rent or maintenance charges.
The family has not paid rent late more than two times in the previous 12-month period.
The family is not under any stipulated agreement or repayment agreement.
There is no history of significant lease violations.
