Richard R. Lee has been at KCRT Television since January of
1992.
He began his long tenure with KCRT as a director,
videographer, and editor for the station's
productions. A couple of years later, he was
promoted to Senior Production Associate, where he became
the lead production staff member. Currently, Richard is
assisting in the programming department and the webmaster for KCRT.COM,
which won best website from the 2000
S.T.A.R.S. Awards.
Produced independently,
Richard is also the creator of the award-winning
Sidewalks Entertainment series, a daily,
music / variety series that is currently on KCRT's
lineup. In addition to producing,
directing, and editing the long-running series, Richard
is also an on-air personality for the program with
longtime hosts Cindy Rhodes and Rafael Siegel.
Richard also edits the music video spinoff,
Sidewalks: Video Nite.
Beyond KCRT-TV, Richard worked for KTVU (Ch. 2), the Fox affiliate in Oakland, CA;
KRCB-TV (PBS); KFCB-TV (Ind.);
and Contra Costa Television (CCTV), the county's
television station.
