KCRT presents a special telecast of last May's Cardboard
Boat Regatta
 On
May 22, 2007, Pinole Middle School's Algebra students --
led by Mr. Aidi and Mrs. Scott -- built boats made only
from cardboard, plastic sheeting and duct tape.
The young participants had to paddle their cardboard
boats across Contra Costa College pool with homemade
paddles. The students had to use their imagination and
math skills to be successful.
