"Cuatro Maestros"
is a one-hour documentary seen on KCRT Television.
The Cuatro Maestros Touring Festival was a music and dance performance festival by
four celebrated elder master folk artists representing their respective Mexican and Mexican-American regional traditions accompanied by members of their groups as well as California's leading youth ensemble Los Cenzontles.
The historic performance which toured seven California cities was sponsored by Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center with major support from the California Arts Council.
The traditions represented, rural in their origins, have made a tremendous contribution to the richness of Mexican music.
The artists presented on the documentary, included:
Santiago Jimenez Jr. and his Tex-Mex conjunto
Traditional Tejano music and dance with accordion, bajo sesto tololoche and drums. Don Santiago tours worldwide and was the recipient of the National Heritage Award.

Andres Vega Delfin and Mono Blanco
Traditional Sones Jarochos of Southern Coastal Veracruz. Mono Blanco, the leading proponent of the Son Jarocho, tours worldwide.
