Luis J. Rodriguez


Luis J. Rodriguez, author of “Always Running”, has emerged as one of the leading Chicano writers in the country with fourteen published books in memoir, fiction, nonfiction, children's literature, and poetry.

In a special Richmond presentation promoting "Hearts & Hands: Creating Community in Violent Times," Luis addresses issues of violence & gangs, and the importance of using the arts and poetry to build community.

The special was recorded January 26, 2011.
