 On
May 16, 2009, the Richmond Police Department celebrated
the 100-year anniversary of service to the Richmond
community.
Hosted by Lt. Mark A. Gagan, the event relived R.P.D.
History, featured guest speakers, presented tributes to
fallen officers and former police chiefs, and showcased
canine and motorcycle demonstrations.
The event was held at Marina Bay Park in Richmond.
