Senior Information Journal is
an award-winning series produced by Contra Costa County's Office on Aging
in collaboration with Contra Costa Television (CCTV).
Moderated by Judy Weitzner, the 60-minute program features an in depth
discussion with local experts. Along with a live studio segment, each show
also features a professionally produced video and demonstrations.
Experts are drawn from the community so that the audience will be introduced
via television to people who may help them with their problems or concerns.
At the end of the show, a resource list will be shown detailing available
services.
Some of program topics include: "Resources and Services for People
with Low Vision," "Osteoporosis: Prevention and Management,"
"New Technology for Hearing Loss," "Hiring Home Help for
Seniors," "Urinary Incontinence: The Dry Facts," and "Fitness
and Health -- For Seniors."
