KCRT's To Your Health


KCRT presents a changing block of medical / health programs. The one-hour block features special shorts or full-length series. Some of the episodes will be in English and/or Spanish languages.

KCRT's To Your Health features the following programs in its lineup:

Airs Friday:
Kaiser Medical Series
,
a collection of feature stories on various health issues, including stories on asthma, prenatal screening and testing, aging, and heartburn.  Produced by Kaiser Permanente.
 
Airs Monday:
Moderated by Judy Weitzner, the 60-minute program features an in depth discussion with local experts. The award-winning Senior Information Journal is produced by CCTV. 
 
Airs Thursday:
Produced by CCTV, ˇVida Sana En Vivo! is a 30-minute program in Spanish discussing health issues for resident
s of Contra Costa County. Health topics include child health, parenting, women's health, chronic diseases, emergency preparedness, violence prevention and more.
 
Air as a Special Program:
Mental Health Perspectives is an award-winning CCTV program discussing the differences and treatment of mental health and mental illness.
